PUBLIC NOTICE

INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR APPOINTMENT AS EXTERNAL AUDITOR

12th AUGUST 2020

 

The National Obstetric Fistula Centre, Abakaliki Ebonyi State invites interested, qualified and licensed audit firms for expression of interest for appointment as External Auditors to the Centre.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Interested firms must have partner(s) with the following qualifications to be eligible for consideration:

  1. Practicing licence of any of the two professional accounting bodies in Nigeria.(ICAN/ANAN)
  2. Evidence of training/certification in International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) with particular emphasis on IPSAS.
  3. Evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN)

In addition the firm must submit application and three (3) copies of profile containing the following documents.

  1. Certificate of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
  2. Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) of the partner(s) expiring 31st December 2020.
  3. Certificate of Compliance with the Pension Reform Act 2004 expiring 31st December 2020
  4. Certificate of Compliance with Industrial Training Fund expiring 31st December 2020
  5. Certificate of Compliance with National Social Insurance expiring 31st December  2020
  6. Current Interim Registration Report (IRR)from Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP)
  7. Evidence of the firm’s registration with the Office of Auditor General Of the Federation
  8. Evidence of renewal of practicing licence for 2020
  9. CVs showing academic and professional qualifications of technical personnel(s) that will participate in the audit work
  10. Evidence of three (3) similar appointments as external auditors in any of the Federal Government Ministries, Department or Agencies in Nigeria within the last five (5) years.
  11. Sworn affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the Centre or BPP is a former or present partner /has pecuniary interest in the firm and also confirming that all information provided is true and correct.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

The expression of interest along with supporting documents packaged in a sealed envelope addressed to: Medical Director, National Obstetric Fistula Centre Abakaliki, 86 Abakaliki-Enugu Expressway, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State must be delivered by hand to the Head of Procurement not later than 12noon 25th September 2020
