Environmental Unit Wins Medical Director’s Cleanest Unit Award For October
The Environmental Unit of the hospital emerged as the Cleanest Unit in the monthly Medical Director’s Cleanest Unit Award.
The Medical Director, Associate Professor Johnson A. Obuna commended the staff under the unit for their commitment and diligence in ensuring the hospital premises are kept clean, especially in the month of October.
The staff of Environmental Unit who benefitted include: Mr. Oriko Ejem Isaac; Mr. Okoro Young Mbam; Mr. Iteze Andrew Sunday; and Mrs. Nwazufu Caroline
While handing over certificates of recognition, Prof. Obuna reiterated his resolve towards ensuring hospital cleanliness during his tenure in office.
It should be noted that the Medical Director’s Cleanest Unit Award is organized on monthly basis with one Unit selected as the overall cleanest. The staff is given individual certificates and a cash prize of fifteen thousand naira (N15,000.00).
Family Planning Unit of the hospital won the award for the month of September.
