Despite efforts made by the Medical Director and the Management of National Obstetric Fistula Centre, Abakaliki to forestall the fraudulent activities of some evil elements who impersonate the Medical Director on Facebook (and other social media) and defraud innocent and unsuspecting members of the public, some persons are still falling prey to their cheap ploys.
In light of the above, the Management of National Obstetric Fistula Centre, Abakaliki wishes to state as follows:
1. That National Obstetric Fistula Centre, Abakaliki is currently NOT recruiting or giving job employment, and when there is job vacancy, the hospital will advertise on National Newspapers and our official website.
2. That the Medical Director does not have a Facebook account nor a WhatsApp group, and at such cannot contact anyone on Facebook (or WhatsApp group) for job employment.
3. That phone number – 08028417211 (and other numbers) used by the fraudsters do not belong to the Medical Director.
4. That the activities of these fraudsters have been duly reported to security agencies, and very soon the evil men (or women) behind the mask will be apprehended.
5. The members of the public are hereby advised to stop dealing with these fraudsters in the name of the Medical Director of National Obstetric Fistula Centre, Abakaliki.
